General Lingerie Care Tips
The following are general care tips for natural & man-made fibers used in some apparel items. As these are general care tips, please remember to Always read & follow the specific care instructions on any item you purchase. If you do not find instructions for a specific item listed here, please feel free to Contact Us & we will do our best to assist you.
Acetate:
Most Acetate items should be dry-cleaned while some knits are washable. If laundering is indicated, use the following guide. For specific instructions, refer to the items specific label.
- Hand wash in warm water with mild suds.
- Do noty twist or wring out the item.
- Do not soak colored items.
- Press while damp on the wrong side with a cool iron. If finishing the right side, use a pressing cloth.
- Circular knits should be laid flat to dry.
NOTE: Products such as nail polish remover & perfumes that contain acetone & other organic solvents, have adverse affects on Acetate items.
Acrylic:
Acrylic items may be washed or dry cleaned. For specific instructions refer to the specific items label.
- If you are washing your item with a washing machine, use the warm water setting & add a fabric softener during the final rinse cycle.
- Machine dry at low temperature & remove from the dryer promptly upon completion.
- Delicate items should be washed by hand in warm water with fabric softener every 3rd or 4th washing. Gently squeeze out water, smooth or shake out item and let dry on a rust free hanger. Circular knit items & sweaters should be dried on a flat surface.
- Use moderately warm iron if ironing is required.
Cotton:
Cotton can be laundered & can withstand boiling water & other high temperatures. For specific instructions refer to the specific items label.
- Use a good detergent to machine wash cotton items.
- Bleach can be used safely on white cotton & color safe bleach on dyed items.
- Generally a higher heat setting is needed to dry cotton in the dryer as it will take longer to dry than other fabrics.
- You may iron cotton items with a hot iron. You may even treat your item with a wrinkle resistant finish to create a more resillient item. The label will tell you if this has already been applied this particular item.
Nylon:
Most nylon items can be machine washed & tumbled dry at a low temperature. For specific instructions refer to the specific items label.
- Warm water is recommended & add fabric softener to the final rinse cycle.
- Promptly remove items from the dryer as soon as the cycle is completed to minimize wrinkling.
- Use a warm iron if ironing is required.
Polyester:
Most Polyester made items are easily machine washed & dried, but can be dry-cleaned. For specific instructions refer to the specific items label.
- Use warm water & add a fabric softener to the final rinse cycle.
- Machine dry at low temperature and remove items promplty upon completion.
- Use a moderately warm iron if ironing is required.
Rayon:
Typically, rayon items should be dry-cleaned. For specific instructions refer to the specific items label.

If you are hand washing, use lukewarm or cool water & mild suds. Gently squeeze suds through item-Do Not wring to twist the item.

Smooth or shake the item out and hand on a non-rust hanger or straighten out on a flat surface to dry.

If ironing is required, turn the iron to a moderate temperature, then turn the item inside out and iron while damp.

If ironing between wearings, press item with a cool iron.
Silk:
Be very careful with your silk items! Only silk that has been pre-washed is washable! For specific instructions be sure to read your item label closely!
- Laundry detergent and other clothes may have adverse affects on your silk items. This is why dry cleaning is generally preferred.
- If your label indicates that your silk item is washable, follow those instructions carefully.
- You may carefully handwash items without lining & embellishments attached. Use lukewarm water & mild soap-NEVER use bleach on your silk items.
Spandex:
For specific instructions refer to the specific items label.

Wash in lukewarm water weather you are washing by hand or machine.

You should not use bleach on any fabric containing spandex. Use a color safe bleach only.

Rinse thoroughly.

Drip dry or Machine dry. Use low temperature if machine drying.

If iron is required, use low temperatures, iron quickly & don't let iron set in one place.
Triacetate:
For specific instructions refer to the specific items label.
- Pleated items are best washed by hand. Most other items of 100% Triacetate can be machine washed.
- If ironing is required, use a high temperature setting.
- Articles containing triacetate typically require very little care due to the fibers durability.
General Hosiery Care Tips
Cleaning:
For specific instructions refer to the specific items label.
- Place hosiery in a hosiery bag or pillow case to help prevent snags on buttons & zippers of other clothing in the wash load.
- Hand wash seperately with mild detergent.
- Never use bleach.
- To dry hosiery, roll hosiery in a towel to remove most of the water & drip dry. Never wring out hosiery or put them in the dryer.
Tips:
- When choosing a hosiery size to purchase, Be honest about your height & weight. If you are closer to the upper end of a size range, go one size up. Proper sizing is important for a proper fit.
- Don't rush putting on your hosiery.
- Don't limit your options.
- Don't feel confined to "nude" when you are choosing a sheer piece of hosiery. Be adventurous!
- Add zest & spice! Use various patterns & styles to create a New Look for each New Season!
- When putting your hosiery on, remove all jewelry and check your fingers & toes for any rough spots that may snag your hosiery.
- Remember that the more sheer your hosiery is, the more delicate & fragile it is.

If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, we will gladly exchange it for you. For us to be in compliance with Federal Health Regulations, any returned item must be unworn, and in perfect condition to be re-sellable. We Do NOT Accept returns on USED items & We do test all Returns to varify that they are in fact unworn. This is for your protection & that of our other Customers. The reason being, Lingerie (thongs, g-strings, teddies,bras, bikini's, hosiery, etc.) is considered "intimate" apparel. If you are concerned about the fit please check the sizing charts before ordering & be sure to try your purchase on while wearing undergarments. We cannot exchange any item that has obviously been worn. We will gladly exchange unworn items. We also are not responsible for defects or damage caused by Customer Error.
